Indeed, I don't understand why I am still coughing since I have seen a doctor and taken so much medicine so far. Although I dislike drinking water, at least I sleep enough and eat nutritiously. Also, I am not catching a cold that I just got a sore and itching throat. Hope that I overcome this period of suffering as soon as possible.

Windy day
     After a few days, the shadow of fear implanted into people's hearts is still visible until now. No matter where you live, everyone has been scared by this catastrophe of tsunami absolutely. As time goes by, I believe Japanese will reconstruct their hometown soon. However, it is difficult to recover their fragile heart damaged by this disaster.
     Recently, just like passing through a tsunami, the departmental office is quieter now because the duration of selecting or dropping courses has been due. I still remembered that many students invaded into the departmental office to ask for the assistant's help. Fortunately, every student was waiting in line regularly, so the assistant dealed with students' affairs efficiently. If there was a disorder, everything might be tackled slowly.

二宮和也在劇中飾演一個作了三個月就辭掉工作、沒夢想沒存款沒志氣的打工仔。在某個契機下，他轉變了對工作和家庭的看法，對生活產生了新的希望。武誠治(二宮和也)打工工地的前輩千葉真奈美(香里奈)，她開朗又能干，給了誠治再一次站起來的勇氣。誠治辭掉做了三個月的工作後，抱著只要想找便隨時可以找到工作的天真想法，窩在家里過著懶散的生活。有一天他得知母親壽美子患上了很嚴重的憂鬱症，才知道母親一直在暗地忍耐著家人的冷漠和鄰里的欺凌。醫生說為了改善病情，需要家人的支持幫助她排解壓力。然而誠治的父親誠一是個典型的工作狂，不僅不把妻子的病情放在心上，還乾脆從家裡避了出去。家裡最理解母親的是誠治的姐姐亞矢子，她在幾年前嫁給琦玉縣的一個醫生，與婆家的相處、兒子的教育問題都讓她甚為操心，還要分心擔心自己家及不成器的弟弟。當現實中各方面的壓力蜂擁而來，誠治開始想"難道我必須當家庭支柱?"誠治的求職屢屢受挫，讓他明白了對一個半途出局者來說，這個社會是多麼殘酷。為了生活，為了得到不錯的工錢，他開始在工地做體力活。在這裡他認識了開朗能幹的上司千葉真奈美。被她明確的生活目標、鮮活的生活方式所影響，誠治開始思考人生和工作的意義。他想人總該有個目標才能奮鬥，於是他決定了自己的目標是"雖然我只是個打工仔，但我要為家人買個房子!"這個聽上去有點亂來的目標，真的能實現嗎？已經分崩離析的家庭，還能恢復原狀嗎？誠治的人生，就此改變。
